Description
The spark plug wires connect the coil pack to the spark plugs. The transfer the voltage built up in the coil to the spark plug creating spark. NGK plug wires are the most common wires ran in DSMs due to them being there from the factory and being the most reliable wire in a DSM.

Troubleshooting
If you are experincing a misfire or a no spark issue, a good place to look would be spark plug wires. Damaged plug wires can arc on anything metal that is around them causing the spark to not reach the spark plug creating a misfire. Alot of times an arcing plug wire will make a ticking sound and depending on where the break is you may see sparks or flashes. A sign of an arcing plug wire is a white residue in the area where it is grounding out.
