After you have confirmed you use,you should see your mercenary behind you after OSRS gold you.You could right-click the mercenary then pick attack target.Your cursor would change to a crosshair and then you can select what creature you need your mercenary to fight.He would accompany your commands obediently.They can reply to simple questions like’how are you’ or’is the weapon any good’ or’hows your family’ and many more.
The man would follow you around all day until you dismiss him and he will go back to the bar/pub/tavern at which you hired him and stay there till you come back for him.Or you could fire him and he would return to the place where you hired him and then it’s possible to hire new ones.
It’s nothing like Pouch Making (Summoning), other than the fact they aid you in battle! I think it’s a great idea. Also, I believe that you should add different ranks of each mercenary. Like, position 1 uses and wears bronze, and needs so much per struggle, rank 2 wears/uses iron, and needs a lot more, and so on.
Additionally, you can do the same with archers, just go from buy RS gold leather to Dark D Hide. Additionally, with mage, you might have black/blue robes to Infinity. Maybe each could have a different staff, from such as, Earth Staff into Air Battlestaff. I really don’t know, just an idea. Additionally, you should add that they are just assists, and you do not get the experience from them.
