When World of Warcraft originally launched back in 2004, it drew in WOW TBC Gold a huge number of players and quickly grew to have tens of thousands of subscribers worldwide. Besides the sheer scale of the match, a large force behind the success of this MMO was that the world in which it had been set.
Azeroth has been around since the first Warcraft: Orcs and Humans started in 1994 and the following Warcraft 2 games farther assembled on the narrative and lore. Warcraft 3 has been probably the most popular of those ancient games and introduced us to many of the characters which would go on to play huge roles in World of Warcraft, including Sylvanas Windrunner, Jaina Proudmore, along with Arthas Menethil, among many others.
So when World of Warcraft launched in 2004, all of the lore, history, and places that had been laid out from the earlier Warcraft games have been attracted to life within Blizzard’s vast MMO.
If you’ve only got a couple of hours a week to devote to a MMO, Classic might not be the match for you personally and you may be better off looking at modern Warcraft to fulfill that Azeroth-shaped hole. Having said that, if you’re not particularly concerned with endgame content like raiding or max-level dungeons and only want to explore Azeroth because it was in 2006 then by all means, carry on. But if you would like to buy TBC Classic Gold enjoy everything that Classic has to offer, then you need to be ready to spend a lot of time not only levelling your character but finishing different Attunement quests and grinding standing to access some of those late-game cases.
