Joey Bosa’s Madden 22 rating is good

Herbert’s rating isn’t yet released as Madden 22 coins ratings are slowly released. We have ratings for two other Charger players: Joey Bosa and Keenan Allen. Allen is 93 years old overall has been named one of the league’s top 10 wide receivers. It’s an exciting surprise though Keenan Allen is often slept on.

Joey Bosa is a Madden 22 left outside linebacker that is a 90 overall (in previous editions it was a right end , however with the LA Chargers switching to a 3-4 defense and he’s now a left-side linebacker). I’d find it hard to find fault with the rating Bosa was awarded as he’s one of the top edge rushers of the game.

Bosa realizes that this isn’t the case. Bosa should be in upper 90s by the end of the season and Madden changes his ratings. In fact, it would not be too surprising if Bosa is the second-highest-rated defensive lineman in the game , just behind Aaron Donald.

The main reason is Staley. Bosa is already an expert player at his position however, Staley has made a living through making elite players better. Von Miller and Khalil Mack enjoyed success under Staley. In actual fact, Mack had a career year with Staley as his outside linebackers coach , but isn’t at the same standard since.

Mack has clearly been a great player but he isn’t able to recreate the 2018 season. He was the most effective matchup with Staley and was traded to the Denver Broncos with Vic Fangio. Aaron Donald was already at the top of the food chain at the time Staley was signed to the Los Angeles Rams in 2020 but look at his impact on Leonard Floyd. He broke up with Staley in 2018, took a step back in 2019 before joining the Rams in 2020. He enjoyed the best year of cheap madden coins his professional career.
